When an alarm occurs the Sentinel will assert an open collector output on the rear panel Auxiliary connector and will display a warning on its front panel. It may also be programmed to sound an audible alarm and/or send an Email notification. There are 4 alarms, each corresponding to one row of the Alarm Action panel.

1. Beep: Check the box for an audible indication from the Sentinel of this alarm.

2. Send Email To: Enter addresses to receive emails about this alarm.

3. Enable: Unchecking the box disables the Email send function for this alarm.

4. Delay first email for: The Sentinel will wait this long before sending email notification of any error. This allows faults which might cause multiple errors to cascade into a single notification email.

5. Mask repeat emails for: Disables repeat emails about the same error for the duration specified here. This prevents a steady stream of emails from a single fault.
